“Lord you know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind”
These are amazing words in Psalm 139. Our God knows us so intimately and has immense love for us. He is so keenly aware of our every movement and wants us to share all our experiences with Him.
Just listen to these words:
“You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and intricate outside and wove them all together in my mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13)
“How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in every thought!” (Psalm 139:17)
So beautiful that He continually thinks amazing thoughts about us. He is a wonderful God with an amazing Father heart for all His children.
We need to get our thoughts lined up with how he thinks about us. It is easy to fall into depression or despair when we focus on our shortcomings. But God sees us through the light of His son, redeemed sons and daughters with the righteousness of Jesus.
I love this passage “When I awake each morning, you’re still with me” (Psalm 139:18) He is with us every morning when we awake. What a wonderful Father!
